Frontline Africa Advisory (FAA) is hosting a Symposium on NEDLAC’s Role in policy-making In South Africa and invites you to join the discussion on the 18th of September in Sandton, Johannesburg.

This event will serve as a pivotal forum for assessing the National Economic Development and Labour Council’s (NEDLAC) performance in the 6th administration and how it has fared – highlighting its successes and challenges to the 7th administration.

Since its establishment in 1995, NEDLAC has played a crucial role in South Africa’s political and economic development and in promoting social dialogue. It is mandated to review all proposed labour legislation and substantial modifications to social and economic policies before their implementation or introduction in Parliament.
